SUMMARY OF PRIVATIZATION IMPLEMENTATION |
Within
the framework of PHC decision No.2003/08 , the PA shares
in the Eti Bakır Co. and the Company's Samsun
Factory had been privatized together in April
2004 by block sale and asset sale methods
respectively.
PA
opened a tender on April 14,2006 via block sale of Murgul Factory, real estates in
Samsun
and licences of mining areas and transfer of
management rights of hydro-electric power plat of
Murgul factory.
According
to the resolution of PHC dated June 30, 2006,
numbered 2006/50, on July 7,2006 PA and Eti Bakır
Co. signed Sale Purchase Agreement about
transferring of Murgul Factory, real estates in
Samsun
and licences of mining areas.
On September 25, 2006 PA, Company and Eti Bakır Co
signed Transfer of Management Rights Agreement about
hydro-electric power plant of Murgul factory.
As
all
facilities of the company has been privatized.
According to the resolution of PHC dated June
22,2007, No:2007/42. PHC is decided to liquidate the
Company. The liquidation process is ongoing.
