PRIVATIZATION |
Tender
Announcement was published
from 21 June 2007 and the
tender was completed in
September 12, 2007.
Privatization High Council
had approved the tender on
November 22, 2007. In
accordance with the related
laws (Constitution Law,
Privatisation Law) the final
draft of the Concession
Agreement submitted to the
opinion of the Council of
State after being initialled
by the parties. The Council
of State has been sent their
decision about Concession
Agreement. Within this
period some legal problems
has been arisen about zoning
plan. |
Specifications of Port of Derince
GEOGRAPHICAL
POSITION Port
of Derince, which is a general purposed
port, is located in the northern part of
İzmir Bay and gives service to
automotive industry and general cargo in
the bay. The port has connections to
both rail and highway networks.
PILOTAGE/TOWAGE SERVICES
The ships enter into or exit from the
Port of Derince are obliged to take
compulsory pilotage service. The ships
up to 2000 GRT are not obliged to take
towage service. Pilotage and towage
services are provided by Port Authority
for 24 hours.
SEA CRAFTS
There exist 1 pilotage
boat, 2 tugboats, and 2 towage boats in
the port. |
